Postpartum depression
is depression that occurs after having a baby. After having a child many women experience worry, sadness and tiredness.
Symptoms:
Severe mood swings
Insomnia
Excessive crying
Loss of appetite
Suicidal thoughts
Fatigue
Panic Attacks
Difficulty in bonding with your child
Unable to focus
Solution:
Rest as much as you can and keep taking breaks.
Don’t try to do too much or to do everything by yourself. Take help from others.
Meet friends and play games with them.
Talk with other mothers so that you can learn from their experiences.
Talk about your feelings with your partner, family members, and friends.
Join a support group. Ask your doctor or nurse about groups in your area.
