What is our inner child?

Your “inner child” is a part of your subconscious that has been picking up messages way before it was able to fully process what was going on (mentally and emotionally).

The concept was first coined by psychologist Carl Jung

Carl Jung (1875-1961) saw the inner child as the starting point of our development and the innocent part inside each of us.

The inner child is impacted by negative AND positive events

From positive events in childhood, the inner child becomes healthy but by negative events like neglect or abuse can wound our inner child.

Why is it necessary to heal our inner child traumas?

Accessing the inner child can relieve the burdens and invite hope and joy.

While some may be hesitant, healing the inner child is truly about investigating our prior connections with self-love and confidence.
